Stay healthy, stay positive, stay you!
This has been a tough year, but its important to remember that you are not alone! We are all feeling the push and pull between happiness and the stress that has been this year. But be optimistic, its almost a new year, with many new possibilities! Positivity has a DIRECT effect on your health, both mental and physical. If you let yourself get too far down, become too reclusive, too closed off from the world around you, you will have a very hard time getting back up.
Stay Healthy:
- Stay physical, move your body
- Take the stairs instead of the elevator
- Stretch
- Go for a walk
- Take your vitamins! Did you know vitamins D and Zinc may slow the spread of COVID
- Like your momma always told you, drink lots of water!
- Wash your hands
- When you cough, cover your mouth

Did you know positivity is more catching than the flu? That’s right, positivity is easy to spread, and has so many positive attributes, it truly has the power to change your everything in a matter of minutes!
A positive attitude is necessary for progress as well as happiness in our life. Positivity creates hope, enthusiasm and light in the lives of those who are positive. People with positive attitudes are attractive people, not necessarily physically, but because of their attitude. Smiling not only offers a mood boost but helps our bodies release cortisol and endorphins that provide numerous health benefits, including: Reduced blood pressure, Increased endurance and reduced pain. Positivity is truly catching you should try it!

Life during COVID 19 rules and regulations has been tough, and it’s easy to lose yourself in the monotony that has become a large part of our society. Things have changed for so many people in a big way making it so easy to lose yourself. Its important to remember who you are. To stay strong, and be true to your values. To have faith in yourself- that you will stay healthy, that you will succeed no matter the triumphs. Its easy to lose yourself, it takes strength to remain you.
Assignment: Think of THREE things you like about yourself, write them down and post them somewhere visible that you will see often. This will be a visual reminder to you of your worthy qualities.
