Compass Team Members and Partner Nominated for 2026 Ruby Awards
Compass for Affordable Housing is proud to announce that Mayrin Rodriguez and Jaime Albarelli have been nominated for the San Diego Housing Federation’s 2026 Ruby Awards—an honor recognizing excellence and leadership in affordable housing.
Mayrin Rodriguez, Resident Services Coordinator at The Orchard at Hilltop, has been recognized for their outstanding commitment to supporting residents and strengthening community. Through their thoughtful, hands-on approach, Mayrin connects individuals and families with critical resources, fosters meaningful relationships, and helps create a stable and welcoming environment for all who call the community home. Their work demonstrates the vital role resident services play in promoting long-term housing stability and overall well-being.
Jaime Albarelli, who partners with Compass as a consultant serving as Signature Initiatives and Community Impact Manager, has been nominated for her leadership in the development and implementation of Compass’s FUND eviction prevention program. Designed to proactively assist residents facing financial hardship, the program provides targeted support to help households remain securely housed during times of crisis. By addressing challenges early and strategically, the FUND program plays a key role in preventing eviction and reducing the risk of homelessness. Jaime’s work reflects a forward-thinking, mission-driven approach to housing stability and systems-level impact.
