Compass for Affordable Housing closed 2025 with meaningful progress across resident services, rental assistance, and affordable housing development—strengthening housing stability while fostering a strong sense of community.

In a challenging housing environment, Compass focused on practical, resident-centered solutions that help individuals and families remain housed, feel supported, and stay connected to their communities.

Resident Services: Education, Connection, and Support

Resident Services remained a core part of Compass’s work in 2025. Through dedicated Resident Services Coordinators, Compass delivered educational programming, community-building events, and one-to-one assistance that support residents in their daily lives.

This work emphasized trust, relationship-building, and resident engagement—helping create connected communities that contribute to long-term housing stability and overall well-being.

Programs: FUND Rental Assistance

A major milestone in 2025 was the launch of FUND, Compass’s rental assistance program, which began serving households in August. FUND provides short-term, targeted rental assistance paired with stabilization support to help prevent displacement during financial crises.

Since launch, 23 households have enrolled in FUND. Without this support, the estimated cost of eviction for these households would have totaled $376,740, highlighting the value of early intervention for both families and communities.

The first group of FUND participants will complete the six-month program in February 2026, allowing Compass to evaluate outcomes and strengthen the program moving forward.

MGP Projects: Expanding Affordable Housing

Compass also advanced long-term affordable housing solutions in 2025 by closing five new MGP projects in partnership with Affirmed Housing.

These projects expand access to quality, affordable housing and reflect Compass’s ability to move complex developments forward through strong partnerships and community-aligned planning.

Looking Ahead

As Compass enters 2026, the organization builds on the momentum of expanded Resident Services, the early success of FUND, and new MGP housing projects. Compass for Affordable Housing remains committed to advancing housing stability and building strong, connected communities.
