We are currently hiring a part-time resident service provider at our community, Cielo Carmel located in Carmel Valley neighborhood in San Diego, CA.  This position calls for an innovative, self-motivator who enjoys helping others.  You will be tasked with operating the after-school program; helping school age children with their homework, as well as the occasional, child friendly, activity.  The position will also manage and assist with adult education events in the role of coordinator. 

A successful candidate will:

• Be innovative and enjoy helping others
• Be a high school graduate
• Be willing to take a background check
• Be responsive in communications with both management and volunteers
• Be willing to interact with residents in the form of outreach

This is a part time position starting at 10 hours a week for the after-school program.  Hours are approximately 3:00-5:00, Monday-Friday but may vary depending on holidays and attendance. Your role as coordinator will call for an additional 10 hours a month.  Compass for Affordable Housing will work closely with you to provide needed materials, etc.  A highly rewarding job opportunity, you will be assisting others in a helpful and interactive position.
